Alison and Joe

Alison and Joe

Alison and JoeSome people are confused by my artwork titles ‘Untitled #X’ etc. Although ‘Untiled #X’ is in itself a title, many people don’t see it that way, and ask why a particular piece has no title. One visitor to my gallery asked “Why no name?”.  I replied, “It has a name, Untitled #1”.  “No, I cannot purchase a piece that has no name” she said. In an attempt to clinch the sale, I quickly added “It has a name, Fred!”.  But she was not convinced.

So this is why Alison and Joe are not without ‘name’.

About

Nature plays a large part in my work — particularly skies and stretching perspectives. Representing the 'feel' of nature, very often as an abstraction using various techniques in oil, acrylic, or watercolour.
