World Book Night World Book Night is an annual celebration of reading that takes place on 23 April. It sees passionate volunteers give out hundreds of thousands of books in their communities to share their love of reading with people who don’t read regularly or own books. Lewis Carroll’s book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland was first published by Macmillan in November 1865. This year (2015) we (Orchards Shopping Dartford, and myself) would like to invite artists to show as much work as possible using the story of Alice as the subject.
