TtLG: The Jabberwock

Alice 150

‘Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!’

Based on Sir John Tenniel’s original drawing from Lewis Carroll’s book Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There, this is the fifth in my series of ‘Alice’ paintings for 2015. The series is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the publication of Lewis Carroll’s book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
