Earlier this month I was invited to a colleague’s studio located at the Trinity Buoy Wharf, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.  The wharf is the site of London’s only lighthouse.  The original lighthouse was built by the engineer, James Walker, in 1852, and was demolished in the late 1920s.  The current lighthouse was
